The Brief:

Barton Electrical Services based in Guildford provides new installation and repair electrical services to both commercial and domestic customers throughout the south east of England.

Their website is an e-brochure site with the facility to submit quote and contact requests online, though not make any product purchases.

Our brief was to increase the volume of online enquiries from their website.

We have provided Barton Electrical with a Fully Managed AdWords campaign since 2013.

The Results:

Having developed the campaign over many months we have structured Ad Groups by the range of services offered, e.g. PAT Testing, Solar Panels, Rewiring, Outdoor Lighting, etc and by geographic location for people making a more general search for an electrician, e.g. “qualified electrician Guildford”

AdWords is the main focus of their marketing for new business generation. We have increased site visitor traffic coming via ad clicks to 800 – 850 per month at an average cost per click around £3.00. Typically, a month’s AdWords visitor traffic activity will generate 30 to 40 tracked conversions of prospective customers along with untracked contacts where people arrive at the website and call the telephone number shown.
